Noteworthy

We had a fantastic first week of school!  Students are getting used to our new schedule.  The week was  spent covering activities to exemplify the expectations and the procedures in our classroom.  I am excited to see what the rest of the year has to bring.

Each week your student will be taking a spelling test; words can be found weekly on the website and the newsletter.  There will be a pre-test every Monday.  If students have all their spelling words correct, not including the sentence, they will be excused from taking the final test on Friday.

Please remember to submit your Scholastic order on-line if you are interested in ordering.  Our classroom code is LLDKP.

Beginning on Monday, the students will be bringing home a weekly reading sheet.  Students are required to read AT LEAST 15 minutes each night.  Please encourage your student to do the reading.  This will help your student become a more confident and fluent reader.
